You have the flexibility to complete the course in segments. For the 14-day class, you can attend the first four days (the pre-licensing portion) during one scheduled course and then take the remaining ten days in another month during another scheduled course set. Conversely, if you opt for the 10-day Boot Camp, you can take it in one month and return the next month to complete the remaining four days of pre-licensing. Additionally, you have the option to take the entire 10-day Boot Camp online, along with the Texas Pre-Licensing course (or any other state Pre-Licensing course nationwide). Experience is not a prerequisite for working as an insurance claims adjuster. To obtain an insurance adjuster license in Texas, you can choose either of the following options outlined by the Texas Department of Insurance: a) Successfully complete the state exam, or b) Complete a certified insurance adjuster pre-licensing course, such as the one we offer. A certified pre-licensing course involves 40 hours of in-class study and the administration of an approved daily exam. Learning the required information on your own can be time-consuming and expensive, especially considering the notoriously challenging state exams. The most cost-effective, efficient, and practical choice is to take our course. Additionally, our courses, led by experienced, licensed adjusters, offer a more comprehensive learning experience.

The adjuster pre-licensing course satisfies all the requirements necessary to apply successfully for an adjuster license. You simply need to complete the application, provided within our course materials, with the Texas Department of Insurance (Sircon administers the Texas All-Lines Adjuster Licensing program). There is no additional testing or coursework required. Additionally, you will need to schedule an appointment with a company named IdentoGO to complete your fingerprints and undergo a background check. IdentoGO and Sircon synchronize this information, and you will receive a payment receipt from IdentoGO. After uploading your information to Sircon, you will also need to pay the licensing cost, which is currently $50 for every 2 years. Please note that in the first year, the license duration goes to your birthdate, potentially shortening your first 2-year period. Subsequently, your adjuster license always expires on your birthdate every 2 years from then on.

While Sircon typically processes adjuster license applications swiftly, usually within 48-72 hours, it’s usually not necessary to check the status given the speed of their administration. However, if your situation involves a previous felony, a designated person at the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) is assigned to your case. This individual reviews court documents and considers all circumstances related to your case to determine your eligibility. In such cases, you may contact TDI for updates on the progress of your adjuster license application.
